Zarex HD: Offering audio, video and web media production services to the classical music and sacred classical music fields, including comprehensive, turn-key production, post-production and release packages.

Zarex Corporation provides audio and video recording services on location from coast to coast for the gamut of classical music soloists and ensembles, and specializes in recording pipe organ, choirs, chamber music, symphony orchestras, and vocal soloists. Zarex's South Bend post-production studio is one of the few facilities in North America providing up to 48-channels of DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio recording on location, followed by post-production and mastering in house. Zarex facilities can author titles for conventional audio CD, SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc), and Blu-Ray Audio, as well as video masters suitable for HDTV broadcast (with both stereo and 5.1 channel surround audio tracks, mastered to the DVCPRO HD format), and for manufacture as conventional DVD and Blu-Ray Video Disc.

Among Zarex's satisfied clients are leading conductors active in sacred choral music, as well as scores of leading concert organists spanning four generations, concert pianists and organ-building firms. These include the Choir of Saint Thomas Church, New York City, the Choir of Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, the Choir of St. Paul's K Street, Washington, D.C., Choir of the Church of the Incarnation, Dallas, The Washington Bach Consort, The Notre Dame Glee Club, The University of Notre Dame Liturgical Choir, The Memphis Boychoir, and include organists Gerre Hancock, Bruce Neswick, Eric Plutz, Charles Callahan, Thomas Heywood, Simon Nieminski, John Scott, and Dorothy Papadakos, and pianists Jeffrey Jacob (New Ariel Recordings) and John Owings. Zarex has performed SACD authoring and surround-sound "up-mixes" for Albany Records (Albany, New York).

A typical Zarex comprehensive package includes all audio and video recording on location (including a mutli-camera HD photo shoot), all post-production (editing, mixdown and mastering / authoring of audio / video), preparation of a promotional video feature suitable for posting at video sharing sites like YouTube, all pre-press and graphics services related to the release of a physical CD, DVD or Blu-Ray product, as well graphics and data services related to a non-tangible download product, label branding (optional), manufacturing with limited release and distribution services. Zarex productions appearing on the Pro Organo label typically receive airplay on national and international radio broadcasts and on newly-introduced streaming audio internet channels.

Among the more esoteric services that Zarex HD Studio provides are [1] the restoration of vintage, open-reel style analog audio master recordings, [2] high-quality video upconversion and restoration of standard definition video, [3] digital synthesis of 5.1 surround sound audio masters derived from an original stereo audio program, and [4] music engraving / score preparation services.

Since 1988, Zarex has enjoyed a manufacturing partnership with disc manufacturers worldwide, but still assigns most of its manufacturing to facilities located in the State of Indiana.
